1. Capital → colonial town
From Bogotá: Villa de Leyva. From Medellín: Guatapé or a nearby town. Book central lodging and return early on Sunday.
2. Coffee Region express
Salento + Cocora in one long day, or Filandia + a viewpoint the next. Best with a comfortable car for curves.
3. Short coast escape
Between Cartagena and nearby beaches, or Santa Marta–Minca for cooler weather. Avoid Friday rush hour leaving the city.
