Checklist: what to review before hitting the road
Lights, tires, documents, fuel and more: a quick guide to leave prepared.

Five minutes of checks before you drive can save hours of trouble. Use this list every time you pick up or start a long leg.
Documents and contract
Carry ID, license, and reservation details. Confirm return time, return city, and fuel policy (full-to-full is standard).
Vehicle inspection
Check lights, wipers, visible levels, spare tire, jack, and kit. Photo or video the exterior and interior at pickup.

Before each long stage
Weather, road status, tolls on the segment, and a realistic arrival time. Don’t drive tired.
